I like how natural this picture looks. I played with the curves and lighting.


For this portrait I wanted it to be really close up. I cropped it a little so that just her hair and face were showing. I put it in black and white because it made it more unique and looked better. I burned her hair in the top left corner because it was too bright from the sun.

easy glow

I like this picture because it brings back good memories. I used the easy glow so it would soften the picture. I probably could have found a better photo to apply this filter to that would show it off more.


I wanted to soften this picture becasue it was a picture of a baby. When I think of babies I think of soft and cozy so I thought it would fit. I could have blured it a little more to make it even more unique.

neon glow

I thought this photo would look good in a neon glow because it puts the focus on the crowd of people. It makes the buildings in the back fade away and gives the picture depth. I like how the glow gives it a summer feel because it's on the beach and it fits the feel of the photo.


I picked this picture to apply the neon glow because I thought it gave it a summer feel. The background is a little too bright but it makes the tree that is closer stand out more. I think the picture would be better if it was darker because the glow took away some of the details.

brush stroke filter

This photo turned out a little darker then I would like it. I like the way the tree stands out. It brings the focus to April which is what I wanted.


I chose this photo because I like how it is on it's own. The feather/brush stroke filters just made the horizon line darker and make the tree stand out more.

blur/overlay

I thought this would be a good picture to apply this filter to because it has bright colors. The soybeans turned out really bright and the tree got a lot darker. I like how the sky looks.


I picked this photo because the blur/overlay filter makes the colors stand out. Also, I thought it would make the sky and the clouds look cool.
